Sex of the cat Do you wish a male or a female? Make kittens become tomcats, spending nighttimes outdoor, having their ears chewed in fightings, developing a definite tomcat odour, and spray the piece of furniture while they are indoors-that is, unless they're altered. Females grow up to be mommas, making distressing periods of calling and rolling and biyearly developing kittens for which you must find homes, if you don’t have them spayed. Tomcats are normally bigger than females. Almost of the folklore about cats is actually based on individual differences, not on sex. People think that females are better”mousers” because they find them bringing mice home to their kittens. The toms catch just as many, but eat them on the spot. Unfortunately many an owner can't assure whether he has getting a male or a female. It is really very simple. If you can count from two to three, you can tell, even on a newborn kitten. On the male, readily visible, there are 3 external parts to the eliminative and reproductive systems, while on the female there are only two. On the female the round anus is direct above the slitted urinary opening. On the male, these 2 eliminative organs are separate by a pair of mounds-mere dots on kitten-that will develop into the testes of the adult tomcat. The male reproductive organ takes up many space under the tail than that of female. With this information, describing between male and female should be easy. If you want a big cat, get a male. If you want a dainty, lightfooted cat, get a female. If you want a cat that stays at home, has good health, remains playful as a kitten, develops and retains a thickly, beautiful coat, and becomes completely dedicated to you, get either sex and have it altered. If you think that you prefer one sex to the other, get it, but know your sexes. Don’t be fooled
