A cat in the home

The right family

When you think about bringing a cat to your family, ask yourself honesty, “Is this a good house for a cat?” If a cat could make a survey of prospective houses, with a change to choose the one he liked best, he may ask such as questions as these

Will I  have clean water every day?
What other animals living there?
Will the owners drive me to a veterinarian if I am sick?
Will they make me altered, or will they insult me if I spray the furniture or keep on
Having kittens?
Will they abandon me when they are fed up me or move away?
Are anybody in the house allergic to cat hair?
However you answer such question will have a bearing on whether you and your cat should set up housekeeping together.

THE RIGHT CAT

There are 2 basics breeds of cats, the longhair and the shorthair.  The common among shorthairs is the domestic shorthair. ( An stray is not a breed.  It is just a homeless feral cat which must make his own way in alleyway, meadow and woodland.) .
Historians  assume that modern domestic shorthair is direct came from the  Egyptian cats.  Amongst the foreign shorthairs is the Siamese (brown-masked faces, and blue eyes), the Burmese (dark brown all over with yellows eyes),
The Abyssinian cat (ruddy-brown, salt-and-pep perish coats on green or gold eyes), the Manx (the tail-less cats of any color, with extra-long back legs), and the Russian Blue, Rex, and carat. The longhaired cat are normally called Persian (Angora cat) in honor by the land of thems origin.  Of the a few kinds, the domestic shorthair, the Persian, and the Siamese are the most numerous.

Which kindls are the best for your family? If there are children below the age of eight, choose the domestic shorthair for they are not as sensitive or high-strung as the longhaired cats.  The domestic shorthair can adjust to a little well-intentioned mauling by young children, when a longhair will running behind the davenport and stay on there for days, starved himself and disappointing the family.  A Siamese will defend himself readily when misconducted, not in anger, only inspired from strong sense of justness and equality.  Learn your kids and pick the cat to suit their temperaments
